Fee Schedule
Appearance fees vary depending on whether Trish can offer readings, sell books, or if there's a charge for workshops / lectures. Please email her trish@loresinger.com with a description of what you have in mind for a complete itemized quote. Generally speaking the following expenses are covered by the sponsor:
Contracts:
Once arrangements have been agreed upon, Trish will provide two copies of a standard contract (one for the sponsor to keep).
Workshops / Lectures / Readings:
Trish provides up to two lectures (or one lecture and one panel discussion) per day, advertising for the event on her website and yahoo group, travel announcements to her publishers, a press kit for your promotional purposes, and event announcements on various bulletin boards. A $100 deposit for first-time appearances is requested within 2 weeks after an appearance is confirmed (this advance fee is waived for gatherings and events with which Trish has already established a working relationship). The deposit is wholly refunded should Trish have to cancel for any reason. Cancellations by event coordinators are NOT refundable.
Where legally practicable, Trish offers Sacred Stone Oracle Readings in conjunction with signings. A description of these readings is available upon request for advertising purposes.
Food & Beverages:
Trish has no allergies and isn't a picky eater. The only foods on her "no" list are squash, zucchini, mushrooms, eggplant, tofu and liver. Coffee, Pepsi, 100% red grapefruit juice, sparkling water and Sangria are all beverages of the gods and very, very appreciated. Note that being a typical Kitchen Witch, Trish is happy to help prepare or cook meals if her schedule allows.
Private Lodging:
I am not allergic to pets or children, and enjoy staying with local folk who don't mind taking in a stray author. People think I say this just to be nice , but it helps you out financially and I get to socialize. For camping events a pop up camper or some type of GOOD bed and tent is necessary due to my back. Also, bedding and other "camping" stuff needs to be provided by the sponsor as it simply doesn't fit in carry on luggage, not to mention the confused looks generated by toting a lantern to your airline seat.
Vending, Reading, Speaking:
Trish pre-ships her books to a point person designated by the sponsor and brings her Stone oracle. She will need you to provide a free vendor's permit (if needed) and booth space (at least a 6-8' table). Note that some type of shelter is also necessary as books don't take well to rain. Chairs are greatly appreciated.
Lectures require no particular equipment. I do ask that chairs are set up, and that those with verifiable financial needs are provided with some type of scholarship so they can attend. Note that I will quote a courtesy discount on all fees to those who offer sliding scale fees and scholarships to attendees,
Getting Her:
First-come-first-served, so reserve early! Typically Trish is booked up to six months in advance, sometimes more. So if you think you want her - get out that query email right away.
